On April 20, a very successful talk show was held with the topic "Requirements for individuals pursuing a career in human resources" at Room D205, Ton Duc Thang University, which attracted a lot of interest and attention from TDTU students.
The purpose of the talk show is to help TDTU students, especially the students from Faculty of Business Administration - Human Resource Management major, update the latest HR trends and better understand the nature of HR career and valuable traits for HR professionals.
The guest speak, Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuan who holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Maastricht School of Management and experienced various management roles at Sony, Philips, JVC, Unilever, Nestle.
By sharing interesting stories from the industry as well as HR management experiences, Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuan helped students develop a vision about Human Resource Management career, the nature and the HR job requirements. The fruitful stories related to HR topics raised many constructive questions from the students.
At the end of the talk show, Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuan enthusiastically answered all the questions and also finished the discussion with lingering questions to remind students all key points of HR topics and to draw out students’ curiosity and reflection.
Hopefully, TDTU students would be able to gain valuable lessons learned in order to make their dreams come true.
