On September 25, 2021, a webinar “Global citizen - A journey to escape outside the comfort zone in a multinational environment” was successfully organized by BAC - Human Resources Management. More than 200 students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attended this event.
The online event welcomed the participation of:
- Ms. Sollie Vu - Strategic Business HR Partner at Huawei
- Mr. Thien Nguyen - Technical Support Specialist at Supermetrics
- Ms. Vy Dang - Digital Marketing Specialist at Nestle from Finland.
As the main topic is about becoming “Global citizens”, guest speakers shared about the journey to be a global citizen, especially stepping out of the comfort zone and learning new things. The speakers, who have extensive experience in their career, shared the tips to enhance English level from average to proficiency. Besides, the students also heard about their study abroad journeys and how they could deal with the difficulties in Finland. Moreover, the speakers also gave students advices on how to adapt to a multinational working environment, cultural misconception, communication skills,...The discussion between speakers and students was extremely lively with numerous questions on studying abroad, English-studying purpose, Cultural integration.
The success of this event hope to equip students useful knowledge and experience, most importantly attributes to become global citizens in the nearest future.
