On the afternoon of November 28, 2025, at Hall A0403, the FBA Mentoring Club under the Faculty of Business Administration successfully hosted the workshop “Smart Networking – The Beginning of a Sustainable Career.” The program is part of an ongoing series designed to guide and accompany students in their career pathways, emphasizing the importance of building a proactive and strategic professional network.
In attendance, representing the event sponsor, was Ms. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Phường – Director of Hoi Viet Anh Co., Ltd. From the Organizing Committee and the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Phùng Minh Tuấn – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, joined the event, along with mentor–mentee pairs and many interested students.
In the main content session, speakers Phạm Quốc Tùng and Lê Thị Bích Phương shared practical insights on “smart networking,” including self-understanding, personal branding, and approaches to connecting with lecturers, alumni, and employers. Through specific examples, students clearly recognized the difference between casual networking and meaningful, value-driven connections.
The Q&A session was lively, with many questions about starting conversations, maintaining contact after events, and appropriate behavior in networking activities. The speakers offered concise and practical suggestions, helping students feel more confident when engaging in academic and career-related events.
At the end of the workshop, FBA Mentoring expressed hopes that students would become more proactive in networking and learn to leverage their connections for career development, while also laying the foundation for future activities aimed at building a strong, united Mentor–Mentee community.
