On the morning of October 9, 2021, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held an online meeting between the University's leaders and students of K25. The program had the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vuong Duc Hoang Quan - Chairman of the University Board Committee, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice Chairman of Science - Training Council, heads of 16 faculties and functional units, and more than 5,000 new students of Course 25 of TDTU.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vuong Duc Hoang Quan congratulated and expressed his appreciation to families of K25 students for having and raising responsible children, bright citizens. He believes that the new students will be good learners for TDTU's lecturers to wholeheartedly impart knowledge, share experiences, and support further.
Speaking on the occasion of the new school year, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting Rector welcomed new students to the TDTU's big family; instructing and encouraging the spirit of study effort for all students in the difficult situation of the COVID-19 epidemic. Dr. Tran Trong Dao assigned the lecturers and officials to regularly follow up and accompany the new students, helping them to overcome the confusion in the first time, study with high efficiency at the very first modules, contributing to the training of students into highly disciplined professionals, respecting the organization, responsible citizenship and holistic development. Giving cordial messages to the new students, he mentioned "gratitude", with the desire that each student must be proud of what they have achieved and constantly develop themselves to worth the expectations of their family and loved ones.
Student Duong Thi Thanh Ngan - student of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, representing the students of K25, gave a thank-you speech, expressing her mixed but proud feeling when making her dream of being admitted to TDTU comes true .Her desire to become a student of TDTU is the motivation for Ngan as well as many other students to study hard during high school. Ngan thanked the teachers for their enthusiastic support, concern and help from admission, welcoming new students to teaching the first subjects. Ngan reminded her classmates that entering TDTU is just the beginning, they need to work together to study and train harder to achieve the goals that their family and themselves already aim at.
At the end of the program, the University Board of Committee and faculty leaders as well as functional units had an exchange on the issues that new students are interested in. Through very practical questions, the freshman demonstrated the common characteristics of today's generation of learners at TDTU: Discipline - Courtesy - Professionalism - Creativity - Service. TDTU looks forward to welcoming students on campus in the nearest future.
