On the morning of October 17, 2021, the Department of International Business - Faculty of Business Administration organized a workshop with the topic “Career opportunities orientation and personal development plan”, to help students exploit future careers, understand the criteria and requirements from the perspective of employers so students can prepare a well-rounded study and career development plan.
The workshop had the participation of:
- Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hong - Supply Chain Management Specialist - Top FMCG
- Mr. Tran Chi Dung - Chairman of Vietnam School of Aviation and Logistics Co., Ltd (VILAS)
- Mr. Le Gia Bao- Project Manager - Central Retail Joint Stock Company.
With valuable experiences in the field of economics in general and Logistics in particular, the speakers shared with students an overview of the international business industry as well as career opportunities in the current context. Besides, the speakers also shared their personal development methods such as: positioning yourself; thinking skills in setting goals and self-direction; foreign language learning methods; skills needed during university as well as after graduation.
During the workshop, the students had the opportunity to exchange with speakers about career opportunities, how to build self-discipline and initiative in completing their plans and exploiting the potentials, strengths and overcome their weaknesses. The passionate sharing from speakers has motivated freshmen, be more confident in the journey ahead.
