Workshop on Collecting Feedback for the Human Resource Management Curriculum

On the morning of October 19, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration held a workshop to gather feedback on the preparation for the introduction of a Level 4 program—the development of the Human Resource Management curriculum. This event marks a significant step in advancing bachelor's degree training in specialized fields in the southern region.

The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Phung Minh Tuan, Vice Dean; MBA. Tran Thị My Phuong, in charge of Department of Human Resource Management, along with HR experts and lecturers from universities across Vietnam.

Speaking at the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly stated: "I warmly welcome the valuable feedback and insights from our distinguished guests. By listening to various stakeholders, we aim to develop a curriculum that not only meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework but also aligns with the real needs of the labor market. Our goal is to equip students with essential knowledge and skills, preparing them to enter the professional and challenging environment of the Human Resource Management field."

Dr. Phung Minh Tuan emphasized that the university aims to contribute to the country by introducing new programs, specifically the Human Resource Management program, to meet the demands of the labor market and support high-quality education.

The launch of this new program not only marks a significant step forward in business education at Ton Duc Thang University but also makes an important contribution to enhancing the professional capacity of high-quality human resources for the country. In the context of strong international integration, providing practical knowledge will help both individuals and businesses in the city increase their competitiveness and ensure sustainable development.

Mr. Doan Ngọc Ha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Human Resource Training Consulting Company, shared innovative approaches to enhance the curriculum and improve the student experience.

Through insights shared by business experts on the practical market, the Curriculum Development Council gained a more comprehensive understanding of the role of digitalization in improving lesson quality, enhancing student engagement and skill training, as well as fostering broader collaboration in higher education in Vietnam.
