WORKSHOP: "TECHNOLOGY, DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION - OPTIMAL SOLUTION FOR LOGISTICS ENTERPRISES IN VIETNAM"

On the morning of November 7th, 2021, Department of International Business, Department of International Business, Faculty of Business Administration collaborated to organize an online workshop with VILAS: "Technology, digital transformation - Optimal solution for Logistics Enterprises in Vietnam" on the Zoom application platform. The seminar received the attention and participation of a large number of International Business students.

The program is honored to have the participation of Mr. Tran Chi Dung - Chairman of Vietnam School of Aviation and Logistics (VILAS), cum Head of Training Department of Vietnam Logistics Human Resource Development Association (VALOMA); Mr. Nguyen Huynh Phuong Nam – Omni - Channel - Galaxy One Project Manager; Mr. Phan Thanh Binh – Director of Information Technology AiPacific (AiHealth & VietFul), Co-founder of Fast Delivery (Logistic) and ETON (Fulfillment Services).

Coming to this fascinating topic, students can acquire practical knowledge, learn and interact with industry experts. With extensive experience in the profession and illustrative examples, speaker Tran Chi Dung has helped students to be aware of the development and great influence of technology and digital transformation in the 4.0 era, especially in the context of the current global Covid pandemic. The speaker pointed out that technology and digital have become decisive factors for the survival of all domestic and foreign businesses.

Coming to the talkshow, speaker Phan Thanh Binh and speaker Nguyen Huynh Phuong Nam were also able to better understand the importance of technology and digital transformation in the 4.0 era. Speaker Nguyen Huynh Phuong Nam provided students with useful knowledge about Omni-Channel - a trend in the new era. In addition, speaker Phan Thanh Binh, as a technology director, shared his practical experiences in applying technology to provide the best solutions for Vietnam's logistics enterprises. Within the framework of the workshop, international business students dared to ask questions and concerns about the application of technology and digital in the field of Logistic. The enthusiastic and open exchange between the speakers and the attendees helped the students understand more about specialized knowledge as well as become more solid in their future career orientation. The workshop created an opportunity for students to gain more practical knowledge, expertise in the field of study and job opportunities at enterprises. Through the program, the Faculty of Business Administration hopes to continue to cooperate with Vilas in upcoming activities and events to give students the best resources for their future.
