In the framework of Viet Nam Young Logistics Talents 2018 Contest of Vietnam Logistics Training Network in general and TDTU’s Logistics Contest in particular. Our Faculty of Business Administration has organized a Career Talk seminar: Experiences to achieve success in the first job (Job application - the first arena of your career) at 6B Hall which is one of the activities of the International academic competition held by our faculty.
Attending the Career Talk conference were: Ms. Duong Hoang Phuc - Talent Acquisition Manager - Friesland Campina Vietnam; Mr. Tran Duy Duy Thao - Supply Chain Manager - Wrigley Vietnam; A number of representatives from the logistics enterprises participated in the "Logistics Arena" competition: Vilas, Nhang Thien, Tan Cang STC and more than 600 students from Ton Duc Thang University, BachKhoa University, International University, Foreign Trade University, University of Finance and Banking and Banking University;
Opening the workshop, Dr. Pham Thi Ngan, representative of Ton Duc Thang University, would like to express her gratitude to the enterprises who have collaborated with Ton Duc Thang University to create a playground for our students. Furthermore, she also encouraged them to try their best for the contest and turn these valuable chances into the practical experiences which might bring success for students in the future.
Next, Ms. Duong Hoang Phuc shared some helpful information on the needs for human resources, opportunities, and challenges in the current social context. She also shared what companies need in the labor force which requires students to adequately gain the knowledge, skills, right attitude. She emphasized that foreign languages, soft skills, logical thinking, and creativity are extremely important for our students because it helps them to be confident to communicate with their future employers.

Next, Mr. Tran Duy Duy Thao provided in-depth knowledge of Logistics and some key positions in this area. He emphasized: "Students should know who they are, and always grasp the opportunity to express themselves which help them succeed in the working places”.

At the end of the workshop, some exciting and meaningful Q & A activities took place between the business representatives and our students.
