The Open Day of the CMO 2018 contest was held at 8:30 AM on April 20, 2018 at A403 Hall, Ton Duc Thang University.
The Open Day event was very exciting and successful with the participation of 32 teams, the Advisory Board and the Sponsors. During the event, 32 teams meet and discuss with the organizers of the competition, get the advices from the Advisory Board and especially Sponsors: HIMA Joint Stock Company - the gold sponsor, is also the company gives candidates the topic of CMO 2018 contest for them to "brainstorming" to solve the problems that they get.
Candidates were very active in giving questions to the advisory board and sponsor. We hope that after the Open Day, the candidates have a more general view and formed the idea for the contest.
At the next challenge of the competition, the candidates were randomly drawn and will develop a project on the topic they have picked up, there are four topics of the next round as follows:
- Topic 1: Develop marketing strategy for Hima product.
- Topic 2: Building marketing strategy for the macrobiotic project in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
- Topic 3: Develop marketing strategies for domestic market and biological products of BNN company.
- Topic 4: Develop marketing strategy for export markets of agricultural products in Vietnam.
This is a rather difficult challenge, both pressure on the professional level, pressure on the competition to eliminate (1 against 3), but from these difficulties, we will see the potential of the candidates of contest as people said: " Fire proves gold, adversity proves men".
