On 25 and 26th May 2024, Department of International Business successfully organized an end-of-module presentation session and invite enterprises to evaluate the final project presentations for the Demand Planning and Procurement module for the K26 cohort of the High-Quality Program. This module applies a teaching model that combines fundamental knowledge delivery by lecturers and guidance by experienced mentors from reputable companies in Demand Planning and Procurement, with students conducting and presenting their projects in English.
The project evaluation session was attended by the following experts:
- Mr. Tran Anh Tung, Senior Supply Chain Manager at P&G Vietnam (7 years of experience);
- Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Mi, Logistics Manager at Bosch Vietnam (5 years of experience);
- Ms. Hua Thuc My, Key Account Assistant Manager, DHL Logistics Vietnam (10 years of experience);
- Mr. Le Thanh Thuy, Director of DSI Company, 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, and Procurement at Decathlon and Vietnam Petrol
After two intensive working sessions, the experts highly appreciated the students' proactive preparation in terms of knowledge and teamwork skills, presentation abilities, and English proficiency demonstrated through the course and project implementation activities. They also provided constructive feedback on the content, knowledge, and skills that could be further improved. This activity has helped students gain diverse perspectives from industry experts, providing them opportunities to interact and learn from specialists in the field, and enhancing their presentation skills, project development, and cross-functional knowledge diversification.
