On the morning of March 29, 2021, at Meeting Room B, Faculty of Business Administration held a March academic meeting with the participation of all lecturers in the Faculty. In this meeting, MSc. Pham Ngoc Bao Duy presented his latest research direction on the use of machine learning techniques applicable in doing business research. Currently in the 4.0 technology revolution, researchers have applied many technologies related to big data, artificial intelligence (AI) to conduct research. In which, machine learning is emerging as one of the best data processing techniques available today. With this research technique, the computer will process word cut in a sentence to filter information, then researcher teach the computer how to divide the data to get the final data set. This is a simple, compact and resource-free technique when big data is infinite.
After finishing the research presentation, the lecturers in the Faculty had time to further elaborate and discuss about the contributions and limitations of this technique in business research. At the same time, faculty members suggests future research directions related to the technique of using big data.
