On the afternoon of May 26, 2022, the Faculty of Business Administration - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) collaborated with experts in the hospitality industry to organize a training session "Sales skills in the hospitality industry", which was held at A403 of Ton Duc Thang University. The program has received the great attention and participation of the students of Ton Duc Thang University, especially the students of the Hospitality Management major.
The program had the presence of speakers with many years of working experience: Mr. Duong Nghiep Khanh - Deputy Director of Sales Department - Liberty Central hotel chain and Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - business development representative of Wyndham Hotel & Resorts in Vietnam.
The content of the training session provides necessary information on sales skills for students majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. In addition, throughout the seminar, the experts also shared important knowledge and skills that a salesperson in the hospitality industry should have. In addition, students can also act as sales staff to solve problems and learn more interesting things through real case studies.
In the seminar, the guests also enthusiastically answered questions from students about job opportunities and recruitment in the field of sales in general and in Liberty Group, Wyndham Hotel & Resorts in particular. This would provide students with a more general view of the major corporations in in the field of sales, thereby discovering themselves and orientate their future career path. This is also an opportunity for students to interact directly with guests who have professional qualifications and experience so as to help students to learn more knowledge from both theoretical and practical perspective in the field of sales in the hotel.
