On the afternoon of September 13, 2025, at Hall 2A, Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) hosted the Welcome Program for Freshmen of Cohort 29 under the theme “Lead the Legacy – We inherit, we lead, we grow.”
The event aimed to introduce the University, the Faculty, the activities of the Youth Union – Student Association, as well as academic and extracurricular opportunities offered by clubs and student groups. It also provided a platform for freshmen to connect with senior students, fostering solidarity and a sense of belonging within the FBA community.

along with the Faculty’s lecturers and staff.
Most notably, the program warmly welcomed the enthusiastic participation of Cohort 29 freshmen – the newest members of the FBA family – who are ready to embark on their academic journey with great aspirations and determination.
Delivering the opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly congratulated and welcomed the freshmen. She highlighted the Faculty’s achievements and milestones, encouraged students to overcome the challenges of their early university days, and emphasized the importance of continuous learning and self-development to become successful future managers. She also expressed her belief that the freshmen will carry forward the Faculty’s traditions and contribute to its future success.
Representing Cohort 29, Ms. Pham Truc Mai, valedictorian of the Faculty, shared her heartfelt thoughts on entering university. She underscored the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone, embracing new opportunities, and expressed gratitude to the University, faculty members, and her family for their continuous support and for providing a professional and nurturing learning environment.
The program featured lively musical performances, a captivating magic show, and presentations from FBA’s student organizations including the SBA Media Team, FMC Melody Club, MIC BAC (MC Club), FBA Mentoring, BAC Hospitality, BAC Marketing, BAC Human Resource Management, and BAC International Business. These groups introduced their upcoming activities and invited freshmen to get involved.
The event concluded with a vibrant atmosphere and high spirits. The Faculty of Business Administration hopes that the freshmen of Cohort 29 will quickly adapt to their new environment, pursue their dreams with confidence, and turn their aspirations into reality.
