Professor Perry Hobson has lived and worked in the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia and The Netherlands. While the main focus of his academic background has been in tourism and hospitality.He has been active in many professional associations, and has been made a Fellow of the Council of Australasian Universities in Tourism & Hospitality Education (CAUTHE) and also the UK's Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME). Over the years he has maintained his commitment on applied research, and has been the Editor-in-Chief of the SSCI-indexed Journal of Vacation Marketing for over twenty-years.
